Among our solutions for steam boiler automation:

  • introduction of capacity control systems for single- and multi-fuel boilers with a capacity of 25 to 1,000 tons of steam per hour;

In this case we offer the implementation of the latest developments of our engineering company using SIMATIC PCS7 or TIA-Portal. It should be noted that “INTENGIN” LLC, having extensive experience in the implementation of automatic control systems within the APCS of power units of different capacities, implements additional control loops and upgrades the algorithms of existing loops with a significant reduction of dispersion (average deviation) of regulated parameters from the set values. In addition, the so-called programmers (automatic setters) are additionally implemented, which ensure automatic “maintenance” of the setpoint for the main parameters during starts and stops with desuperheating. This complex of measures for modernization of control subsystems (along with updating of technical means) significantly increases accuracy of maintaining process parameters (increases overall efficiency of the power unit), facilitates operator actions, reduces start-up and shutdown time.

The ACS schemes implemented by “INTENGIN” LLC not only provide a qualitatively new level in the accuracy and all-mode maintenance of technological and electrical parameters, but also the highest efficiency of the units.
This proposal includes a package of works related to the modernization of the boiler’s APCS, expansion of the existing PTC and coupling it with new equipment.

The upgraded APCS of the steam boiler is designed for automatic operation of the boiler unit in all modes, including ignition and shutdown of the boiler, set and load shedding, remote control of new equipment of the boiler unit, as well as display of reliable information on the technological process of steam production to the operator.

The purpose of the ACS upgrade is to:

  • collection and processing of information coming from analog and discrete information sensors from new equipment of the boiler unit;
  • centralized monitoring and control of technological processes and the state of newly installed TOU equipment (technological control object);
  • display and fixation of primary and processed information for control room operators and other operating personnel regarding new burner devices, shut-off and control valves and boiler I&C;
  • automatic control of continuous processes, including load recruitment and load reduction during the combustion of a new type of fuel;
  • implementation of technological protections and interlocks in accordance with the technological problem statement;
  • remote control of shutoff and control valves and auxiliary mechanisms, including ATS for newly installed equipment;
  • implementation of warning and emergency process alarms, recording of events and parameters (including the actions of operating personnel), maintaining the archive of measurements and events in terms of new equipment.
