Implementation of a pulverized coal automation system based on PLC equipment from Allen-Bradley, using field equipment from SIEMENS, Emerson, VEGA, etc.
In December 2015, all works on the commissioning of the complex for injection of pulverized coal at Blast furnace No. 9 of PJSC “AMKR” were completed, the first injection of dust and the production of cast iron using pulverized coal were carried out.
As part of the work, our company completed a full range of commissioning works in terms of coal transportation and accumulation, including setting up a PLC based on RSLogix controllers from Allen-Bradley, developing and implementing the software part of the project, as well as an HMI based on SCADA of the FactoryTalk View system. The commissioning works of the conveyor equipment of the coal transportation department, as well as the adjustment of the instrumentation of the whole complex were carried out. Equipment from manufacturers such as SIEMENS, Fisher-Rosemount, VEGA, Schneider Electric and WIKA was installed and adjusted.
