VibroVizor

VibroVizor is a software package for monitoring the condition of equipment, rotating machines and mechanisms. It allows you to measure and record data on vibration and other relevant information about the mechanical state of the units, warns maintenance personnel about the degree and nature of the developing defect in time, provides data to analyze the state of the unit over a long operating period and in several operating modes, allows you to judge the development of a potential defect.

Timely vibration monitoring – reducing machine accidents

ISO 10816-3:2009 defines the basics for monitoring rotating units by mounting sensors on their fixed parts. The VibroVizor software package implements the full range of tools defined by the standard that allow continuous monitoring of rotating units and have comprehensive information to determine potential defects and the current state of the unit as well as to plan maintenance and repair work.
Standard equipment vibrodiagnostics include:

  • automatic calculation of the normalized vibration values and comparison with the standard ones;

When a malfunction is detected by vibration diagnosis of bearings or other machine parts, the monitor displays a message to the operator indicating the sensor that measures vibration, where it is installed, and the severity of the malfunction. This information allows planning of repair or maintenance measures for the unit and deciding on the mode of further operation.
All vibration levels are presented to the operator in an intuitive way, indicating where the sensors are located in a schematic representation of the engine. The figures are accompanied by a color indication, which gives an indication of the permissible vibration level.
VibroVizor provides the turbine vibration diagnostics specialist with spectral analysis mechanisms for determining the harmonic components of vibration, calculating the phases of the main components and plotting the shaft orbit.
VibroVizor provides convenient graphical representations for analyzing historical vibration data for more in-depth analysis of machine condition.
Advanced vibration monitoring capabilities allow the results of the harmonic analysis of the vibration signal over a certain period to be saved for later analysis. This signal spectrum is stored in the device profile and can be compared with reference spectra defined by specialists, which symbolize a perfectly serviceable device or a certain stage of defect development. In this way the search for a fault based on the signal spectrum is considerably simplified and accelerated.
VibroVizor is a software package which supports the transmission of information over a network, allowing several operators to monitor machine vibration data at once. The integration of VibroVizor into a higher-level automation system is also supported thanks to the Modbus TCP protocol support.
